Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
By using HOArules.online (the "Service"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What the Service does
HOArules.online is an automated tool that analyzes HOA governing documents (such as CC&Rs, bylaws, rules, and amendments) that you upload, and produces a plain-English report summarizing what those documents state, with citations to the specific article, section, and page.
Not legal advice
The Service does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal interpretations, and it is not a substitute for a licensed attorney. Reports are generated automatically based on the text of the documents you upload. For active disputes, enforcement actions, or any decision with legal consequences, consult a licensed real estate attorney in your state.
Accuracy
We aim for high accuracy, and the Service is designed to quote source documents exactly and flag ambiguity or missing information rather than guess. However, automated analysis of scanned or lengthy legal documents can contain errors, omissions, or misreadings — especially with poor-quality scans, handwritten amendments, or unusual formatting. You are responsible for independently verifying any information in your report against the original documents before relying on it.
Payment
Each report is a one-time purchase at the price displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only to analyze documents you have the right to upload (for example, your own HOA's governing documents, or documents you are otherwise authorized to review).
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HOArules.online and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any decisions made in reliance on a generated report.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
